RQT Programme
Title- Developing Middle Leadership- learning to lead
Target audience: RQTs (2-5 years) and Middle leaders (new to the role) that are looking at ‘Taking the Lead’ in delivering a whole school initiative. This will support them in the development of their leadership role whilst having a whole school impact!
RQTs that have trained via the School Direct Route (St Mary and St Thomas’ CE Alliance) will receive a 10% discount to attend this programme.
The programme will follow the NPQH competencies and professional standards that underpin the programme. This is a successful professional development programme designed to assist senior leadership teams in succession planning and building capacity of teachers to enhance school leadership.
This includes: 8 face-to face sessions, personal needs analysis; process led training; development of leadership skills; and a final presentation identifying impact of the programme on delegate’s leadership learning and school improvement.
Sessions will be led by: Yvonne Gandy (Education Consultant), Lisa Bradshaw (Director of Teaching School) and Jason Bangbala (Behaviour Consultant).

The full cost of the programme is £800.00 (£100 per session) thisincludes: 8 face-to face sessions and school based visits, tea/coffee/biscuits/light lunch and all course resources. This is subsided by the St Helens TSA to keep costs at a minimum. As a result no additional discounts will be applied.
All sessions will take place at: St Mary and St Thomas’ CE Primary School, Barton Close, St Helens, WA10 2HS (TSA training centre), 8.45-3.45pm.
Only 20 places are available, places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

The cancellation policy is as follows:
14-30 days: charged at 25%
7 days: charged at 50%
Less than 1 day: Charged at full training rate
Please note all cancellations must be in writing via email to sarah.makin@three-saints.org.uk. A confirmation of your booking will be sent to you once received. Should you be in a position to supply a substitute delegate there will be no charges.
